The program encourages discovery of real issues affecting real demographics. Bendigo’s healthcare services are already utilising technological innovation in prostheses, nutrition and robotics. The program is structured and facilitated to encourage the sharing of personal insights and experiences, promoting the development of empathy and emotional intelligence. Each group utilises Design Thinking and students become their groups’ specialists in different prototyping technologies.
