Imagine the Bendigo you’d like to see in the the future, capitalise on opportunities and mitigate against challenges with renewable energy technologies through 3D printing technology. Starting with examples of different renewable energies and their own ideas for the future of Bendigo, students get hands-on testing an array of devices that transform and transfer energy (using the scientific method).
Through the Design Thinking process, groups research and decide on a potential future energy problem to address. The students create solutions leveraging innovations in renewable energy and energy efficiency related technologies.
